Last adjusted in April, 1999.

Monthly Poverty Level Figures

Household size Maximum Monthly Income

     1 $687
     2 $922
     3 $1157
     4 $1392
     5 $1627
     6 $1862
     7 $2097
     8 $2332

Then add $235 for each additional household member.

Most U$ dole/welfare programs operate using PL as a baseline. Programs
might use 100%, 125%, 150%, 175% or even 200% of PL to establish
eligibility.

The adjustment in april raised the levels about $2 per household member,
but i don't have those numbers handy. The others are The Real Deal from
the U.S.D.A.
