I chose "Bakunin" because I happen to think he was a pretty cool guy, and because that happened to be the first thing I tried that wasn't already taken. I assumed that people would be bright enough to realize that it's just a fucking alias and that I wasn't trying to be some sort of clone. >>I wasn't even advocating the use of wet-nurses, >>I don't even know that much about them. > >Well, when you were doing your Prince Charles impersonation, >you did say > >>>one could aquire the services of a wet-nurse > >and you now know that > >>>Certainly, until very recently, the aristocracy >>>in this and other countries did indeed acquire >>>the services of a wet-nurse from the lower classes. >>>But how does a wet-nurse come to have milk >>>in her breast ? Women can continue to breastfeed after thier own child no longer is. There are also drugs that can induce lactation without pregnancy. No child need have milk taken from their mouths. Not to mention formulas, which I mentioned before, but you deleted in your reply. Also obscured in your reply was the fact that it was mentioned only to make the point that breastfeeding is not parasitical in the way that pregnancy is. It wasn't intended as an allusion to the social practices of nineteenth century aristocrats. >I'm glad to have been able to help with your education. >Stick around, and you will learn a lot more. > > Dave If I keep listening to you I'm sure to learn how to be a condescending prick.
