Dear list,

The Australian broadcasting commission (ABC) midday news has just featured
interviews with masked anarchists with accompanying red & black stars as
well as the occasional circle A. The general tone of the item was that
anarchists  are: "organised" "anti-property" thugs who incite other hoons to
violence. However the news-reader did indicate at the beginning of the item,
that the Seattle city administration admitted that police had over-reacted
and had used greater violence than had been necessary and there would be
disciplinary action against officers.
