I did see the piece--ABC ran something similar, with a little more emphasis
on the primitivists our of Eugene.  CBS ran something completely
different--emphasizing the police violence and quoting a theologian from
Berkeley who expressed solidarity with the protetors of all stripes, but
insisted that non-violent, creative direct action was what was needed to
change the world and wrest it back from the capitalists.  My concern at
this time is the potential conspiracy charges and so on that may come out
of this ownderful action.  Will the feds merely target the anarchist
movement or will they go after the whole network of activists who organized
this?
