They ain't getting paid for the scrap, or at least not too much.  I just
can't figger how getting rid of the warplanes could have a higher cost than
keeping them.  Maybe they're talking trade-in loss on the bluebook value.

Actually, it seems a perfect time for an insurance scam; insure the hell out
of them and then have everyone hit the eject button due to turbulence.
