By "Top Anarchist Events of the Century" do u mean positive? B/c several
choices given on the list were prob more negative than positive. 4 example,
4 the most part anarchy was taken seriously and seen in more of a positive
light b4 this century b4 some of these events transpired.

Take the assassination of McKinnley, 4 ex. When Czolgosz murdered the
president, it immediately threw out abt half of Proudhon's arguments. When
ppl saw a man who had publicly announced himself an anarchist kill a head of
state, they started thinking all anarchists were the same way. Sensible
arguments gave way to negative stereotypism.

Events such as these, though they may have been important, in fact hurt the
anarchist movement a helluva lot more than they helped it. I suppose its
been that way ever since the terrorist anarchist movement began last
century, though.

So basically what im asking is 4 u 2 define "important." Does important
mean helpful, hyped, critical, or those events which had the most impact on
society/the world as a whole?
