Moscow looked pretty cool from what I saw on TV. My favorite was Paris.
That exploding Eiffel Tower was awsome.

I thought London took the cake with fireworks. Minus points for the
Dome, the stupid Wheel, and all that deference to the Queen and New
Labor

My jaw dropped when Peter Jennings said something about how cool the
British gas logo was and how it "represented a successful partnership
between government and the private sector."

The worst? A special Washington Post 20th Century lookback that blamed
most of the genocide of the 20th century on Karl Marx. Marx never killed
anybody, Lenin and Stalin did.
