Really, since state restrictions are nuisances more than anything, I don't see the problem. I hung out at bars and drank much more often before I turned 21 than I did after by being a roadie for a local band. If you want to do something, figure out a way to do it rather than wait for permission, that's all I'm saying. Carp kinda bashed the skaters he had seen, but skateboarding (way back when) taught me much about self reliance, about doing whatever the hell I felt like doing regardless of how anyone else felt about it, and then managing the consequences. I probably got stopped for trespassing hundreds of times (because the best skate spots are always on private property), but never arrested. But then again, I'm a selfish Individualist Anarchist, so maybe I'm a bad example.
