Which pisses you off, and demonstrates clearly to you the sillyness of
state-enacted restrictions, which makes you more open to anarchist
ideas. Really, since state restrictions are nuisances more than anything,
I don't see the problem. I hung out at bars and drank much more often
before I turned 21 than I did after by being a roadie for a local band. If
you want to do something, figure out a way to do it rather than wait for
permission, that's all I'm saying.

Carp kinda bashed the skaters he had seen, but skateboarding (way back
when) taught me much about self reliance, about doing whatever the hell I
felt like doing regardless of how anyone else felt about it, and then
managing the consequences. I probably got stopped for trespassing hundreds
of times (because the best skate spots are always on private property), but
never arrested. But then again, I'm a selfish Individualist Anarchist, so
maybe I'm a bad example. But my point is that it's less important to worry
about the legality of an action than it is to decide whether it's something
worth doing.

cheers,
Scott
