But here goes... You're asking a couple of questions, all balled up together. I don't 'hate cops' as people - which would be a kind of reduction of individuals to their social roles which is rather unanarchistic. I have some friends who are cops, and understand that there are plenty of cops out there really trying to make a positive difference. Am i pissed off at the fact of an authoritarian system, where cops of one form or another claim a monopoly on force, enforce the rights of the few - or corporate "persons" - over and against the rights of most of us, and does the sight of those cops going about that business piss me off? You betcha! But so, to one degree or another, does the behavior of all the folks working overtime to prop up capital and state authority in their lives as workers, citizens, consumers, etc. > if so can ya explain how this isnt fascism Prejudice it may be. Fascism refers to a particular set of political ideologies - and cop-hatred alone is not an element of that set. It can, of course, go along with more strictly fascistic beliefs and practices, as can the stuff the beat cop does to "serve and protect" us. > KaZpar -shawn
