Thomas Paine, but he is truly the only radical of the bunch. He didn't stop 
with the US revolution either. He went on to lend his mind and writting 
skills to the French Revolution and tried to help start one in Britain. He 
died broke and almost forgotten by the US and French.

Too bad he was a capitalist though .
