Hi there - Well it's pissing with rain and freezing in gloomy West London and my roof leaks, and I can't see where the water's coming in from. PS With Chomsky, I don't think his vocab or syntax are out of the ordinary in particular; my difficulty reading him is that there is virtually no redundancy, linguistically speaking, in his prose. The information just comes at you relentlessly with no gentle "once upon a time, in the land of the Great Satan..." sort of fillers which make stuff easy to digest. PPS This opinion is based on entirely invalid and vague recollections based on reading Necessary Illusions a year or so ago, but I've never let validity and empirical evidence get in the way of passing comment.
