Hi there - Well it's pissing with rain and freezing in gloomy West London
and my roof leaks, and  I  can't see where the water's coming in from.

PS With Chomsky, I don't think his vocab or syntax are out of the ordinary
in particular; my difficulty reading him is  that there is virtually no
redundancy, linguistically speaking, in his prose. The information just
comes at you relentlessly with no gentle "once upon a time, in the land of
the Great Satan..." sort of fillers which make stuff easy to digest.

PPS This opinion is based on entirely invalid and vague recollections based
on reading Necessary Illusions a year or so ago, but I've never let validity
and empirical evidence get in the way of passing comment.
