Is anyone on this list Scandinavian or aware of any human rights abuses there?

I have a 'moderate' socialist friend who is convinced that Scandinavia is the 
epitome of the just socialist state. The actual word he used was 'paradise'. 
This pisses me off because I'm sure if he was at the bottom of the Scandinavian 
ladder he wouldn't say that. Frustratingly, I don't know enough about the 
Nordic countries to be able to comprehensively refute this. Even though I'm 
pretty sure there are problems there, they don't seem to be too well 
publicised. Anyone able to help?
