New Infoshop.org News Wire

As many of you who are subscribed to the same lists that I subscribe to, 
you may have noticed that I like to foward news items of interest. For 
some time I've been hoping to set up a news list associated with 
Infoshop.org and the Flag! server project. With the creation of this list, I 
will be scaling back the number of news articles that I habitually post to 
too many damn lists.

So, I'm pleased to announce another anarchist news wire:

You can subscribe to it by sending a message to majordomo-AT-flag.blackened.net 
with the following in the body of the message: subscribe infoshop-news

The majordomo program will send you back an authorization message which you 
need to reply to in order to complete your subscription.

Infoshop-news will contain a wide variety of forwarded news stories, 
information, and tidbit which will be of interest to anarchist and social 
change activists. It will include articles from the corporate media as well 
as from altetnative media sources. This list is not being set up to compete 
with or replace excellent anarchist news services such as A-Infos.

I'm also hoping to recruit several people, including myself, to write regular 
op-eds for the wire.

While I will be posting most of the content on this list, I welcome other 
people to contribute. In order to be able to send content on this list, you 
simply need to email me and tell me who you are and what you plan to 
distribute. I will send a copy of the guidelines.

I want to thank all of you visit infoshop.org on a regular basis. Your 
comments have been helpful and inspirational.
