Well, the Queen apparently met Camilla Parker-Bowles, the adulterous ex-wife of the Silver Stick in Waiting, Col Andrew Parker-Bowles, at a party given by Chazza at his place last week, so speculation <yawn> is rife. Phil the Greek refused to go though. No-one mooned at the QM, but personally I think she's already dead. We rarely see her, and when we do she's either on an electric buggy or wearing floaty floor length chiffon, 'neath which I suspect lurks a skilled dwarf puppeteer [and before anyone moans about 'dwarf', I know a right on 'dwarf' activist and he uses the term 'dwarf'] moving the increasingly pale, seemingly embalmed limbs. > as you can probably tell, I have been in seclusion. What are bearded taliban doing in your neck of the woods? - I thought you had some sort of Maginot line keeping them out, mind you it didn't work for the French either. >I will be traveling soon to India, to > visit in-laws, which trip, premonition informs, will be spent being followed > by spooks and questioned by the trench-coated types (who in India wear > trench-dhoties). wish me luck! > What do the Sikh spooks wear? Do they have a turbanic equivalent of the sort of Latin Americanesque hat which goes well with mirrored ray-bans? Good luck with the border and be careful if you're on the trains - yours is the only area where the railways kill more than ours do. Hope the in-laws have some good food in. Andy
