this fireworks shit is a great example
of where we are going wrong

- why participate in that?

fireworks, airshows...
what are we sacrificing?
the cost is enormous [financially and environmentally!]

we can't really afford that!
we need to establish some priorities
and set some boundaries

change *the_thinking!*

don't support taking from programs that deserve support
and contribute to environmental degradation in the process
in order to indulge in this sort of frivolity

all that money comes from somewhere,
and all that smoke is landing right here

boycott this sort of shit!
and let "them" know that you are, and why

think about what you support...

boycott what you don't support
[look where things come from and where they go]

...support what you believe in!
