The message below is from the Right-Left list.. it's from a typical
hard-Leftist who seems to feel that "winning" a revolution comes down to
basicly how many people you can kill.  It's my opinion that this option
will never succeed, and creates a legacy that makes one worse than what
they sought out to fight. (remember Cambodia)

Hey, what's all this talk about blood and revolution? If there's going to be a revolution, it will damn have to be bloody. If the revolutionaries don't kill the, hm, kulaks quickly, the revolutionaries will be slaughtered and the revolution will fail. Or they can wait 50 000 years, for a change of consciousness.
The revolution in Yugoslavia had failed precisely because the old kulaks (such as my great grandfather) weren't slaughtered in time. Instead, the revolutionaries were slaughtered and kulaks took power quickly, integrating some ex_low_class people, to form the red_kulak_class. There was a name for them in Yugoslavia - the Red Burgeoisie. As I said, it included my great grandfather, who was a small merchant before WWII and a communist factory director after it (though he didn't officially join The Party).
I think if any revolution plans not to be drowned in it's own blood, it will have to swim through the blood of others. Bon Apetit.
The fact that this is being discussed, shows how close we are to a planet-wide revolution. That's why I'll go back to writing a stupid article about Skinheads now (for money).

P.S. when were the first skinheads anyway? I wrote "the 60s". Hope I didn't miss by more than a decade (although nobody in the editorial board would notice such a small mistake, but...) ...
Does anybody know some web-accessible articles about the appearance of skinheads and how fascists took over the name? Is there any, hm, Europe-wide analysis on contemporary skinhead "movements" (something about numbers, organisedness, activities and stability of ideological background)?
