I was thinking about you several weeks ago--I was wondering where some of the old -AT-list people had gone off to. Sorry to hear about your descent into dot-com hell. I've found myself resisting similar hell at my association of late. My main headache right now is having to go to more meetings and do more project management. I'm not supervising anybody yet (I wouldn't if they asked me) and don't expect that situation to change any time soon. If you can find *any* free time in the future, and if you want to save your soul (yuk), there are several anarchist tech projects in development in the area (you are still in Baltimore, yes?). Flint Jones, who lives in Baltimore, has one server project and is working on Hackwork.org, which will be like Slashdot, but with a focus on tech worker issues. Our soccer buddie Ian has a new server up in Annapolis. He's got a fat server and a fat pipe and is looking for anarchists and activists who want to use the server. He says that almost anything goes. Finally, we have a little TAO sister collective here in D.C. One of our projects is mutualaid.org, which will be like TAO, but with web space available for anarchists, acitivists, and NGOs. Oh. we're also working on a Baltimore-Washington tech worker IWW group. << Chuck0 >> This was the year *everything* changed. -- Commander Ivanova, 2261 Mid-Atlantic Infoshop -> http://www.infoshop.org/ Alternative Press Review -> http://www.altpr.org/ Practical Anarchy Online -> http://www.practicalanarchy.org/ Homepage -> http://flag.blackened.net/chuck0/home/ "A society is a healthy society only to the degree that it exhibits anarchistic traits." - Jens Bjørneboe
