Date: Tue, 17 Apr 2001 17:08:12 -0700 (PDT) From: remotephone <remotephone-AT-yahoo.com> Subject: kinds of anarchy im not too educated in the area of anarchy except from what ive learned from my debate files and my friend's attempts to convert me. i have read that there are several different sects or anarchism. i have heard of anarcho-capitalists, anarcho-socialist, communist, etc etc etc. from what ive read in these emails it seems to be that anarchy is anti-capitalism. were those speaking of anarcho-capitalism mistaking it with objectivism (randian stuff) or is there actually a real sect of this kind? also, are anarchist against government alone or any form of hierarchy? and one final question. a point i hear constantly in debate rounds when using critiques of statism and anarchy arguements is that anarchy lasts for a second. as soon as the governments go away, people begin to reorganize and appoint leaders (unofficially) and do other such things. so what really happens post governmental society, thanks. jaimo. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
