Subject: The Next Protests Against the IMF-World Bank

I just wanted to let everybody know that there will be a more radical
effort to parallel the call issued by 50 Years is Enough. Anarchists and
anti-authoritarians in Washington, DC, Baltimore, and other regional
cities have been organizing an "Anti-Capitalist Convergence" for several
months already in preparation for the international week of actions next
September against the World Bank and IMF. Our call will be issued very
soon, but expect to hear a variety of messages coming from our network,
including "Abolish the World Bank and IMF."

I'll be creating a special website for this radical direct action
campaign against the IMF/World Bank. Anarchists, anti-authoritarians and
other radicals are encouraged to start planning now for the September
protests. Please come to D.C. if you can or organize resistance to
global capital in your community. Please organize affinity groups, do
public education, raise money, and make shields.

The organizing effort here is well underway--we are optimisitic about
putting together a week of actions that will be bigger than A16 and just
as radical as Seattle and Prague. We have a chance to deliver a
knock-out blow to these evil institutions of international capital, so
let's seize this opportunity!
