The L.A. conference was more activist oriented and happened over three days, while the S.F. conference promoted theorists and was only one day long. Due to a good turnout and positive feedback, they now intend to hold S.F. conference yearly on the day after the annual bookfair. (Of course they didn't set up food or housing so that makes it easier for the organizers.) I will be in Melbourne, Australia at the end of this month and I'll catch their -AT-weekend too; in fact I'll be tabling there. I would like to meet anarchists from everywhere. jory
