Chucko, your heart is in the right place, and while sabotage is
certainly a time-honored (sorry i mean honoured; damn, i'm becoming
bi-lingual!) strategy, sabotage that injures workers is problematic
both morally and from the point of view of effectiveness.

tree-sitting, on the other hand, seems to be far more useful in
stopping logging and generally gets good press.  it puts the protester
at risk, which is as it should be.  and just from a personal point of
view, tree-spiking seems a bit passive-aggressive to me.  why not just
take a rifle and start popping off at loggers?  more honest.
