Isn't tree-spiking now conidered a bit passe'?  The timber corporations
now log spiked timber and let the employees take the risk.

There's a guy named Frank Ambrose here in south-central Indy-by-gawd-anna
and he is charged with ELF tree-spiking.   He's going to take the fall
and no one is really sure the state has a case.   It'll still cost him
10s of thousands to defend himself.
