Stick to clear thinking. > > Cheers, > Daniel perhaps, but my assertion is in the form: if clear writing is present, then clear thinking preceded it (in formal logic: if p, then q where p is the presence of clear writing and q, clear thinking). i wholeheartedly agree that unclear writing certainly is not always the result of unclear thinking (if ~p, then ~q does not follow from: if p, then q). i'll go even further and assert that while clear thinking is not a sufficient precondition for clear writing, it is a necessary precondition. roger
