If you can get together a sizable group and you can raise some money,
organize a bus caravan.

Subject: LASC: Discount bus tickets for DC Mobilizations

The Latin American Solidarity Conference, in cooperation with the
International Action Center and the Mobilization for Global Justice, has
negotiated special bus charters and fares with Greyhound Charters. We
will shortly be forwarding prices for over 100 cities as well as
suggested departure times in order to create a "bus caravan" effect as
the buses converge on Washington, DC. Special prices for individual
tickets on regular Greyhound bus routes are also available. Below is a
blurb Greyhound sent us for use in outreach materials, webpages, etc.

-- Chuck Kaufman, Nicaragua Network

To reserve your charter bus, please contact Greyhound Charters, our
preferred ground transportation provider. You may reach them directly by
dialing 1 (800) 454-2487 and press the number '2.' To ensure you receive
our special discount pricing, a Greyhound charter representative will be
dedicated to answering this line between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00
pm, central standard time. They will be happy to assist you in
coordinating and planning your group charter to and from the 'Another
World Is Possible' rally.

The Latin American Solidarity Conference website can be found at
www.americas.org/LASC

The following are instructions on using the Latin American Solidarity

3.To post a message to the list, send email to: lasolidarity-AT-topica.com

  4. Do not reply to the list-serve. If you need to reply to a message
that comes over the list-serve, make sure that you reply to the sender.
  5. All messages should be focused on Latin America Solidarity work.
Please do not send news articles.
  6. All messages should be national in focus. No local mobilizations or
events, please.
