maybe, but i'm not buying it.  things have changed.  look at it this
way:  we're dedicated to the proposition that individuals acting
without coercion and in autonomous and self-regulationg groups, can be
as productive and creative as the wage-slave-based engine of
capitalism, ne pas?  well, we've just seen a demonstration that the
same un-coerced, autonomous groups can be just about as DESTRUCTIVE as
the nation-state itself.

you can try to change the subject by saying:  well, the western states
helped foster and create these groups. true, but irrelevant.
concentrating on the evils of the state (while loads of fun, and even
warranted given the current situation) doesn't change the fact that
there is an elephant in the room.
