"all powerful techie dudes".....Heh. Their current economic clout is 
an accident of technological progress. Within a decade or two, 
what they are doing will be considered blue collar work.

Most of them are social misfit males who couldn't interact with 
another human socially if their lives depended on it.

That's the reason they gravitate towards individualist extremism, 
and end up populating anarcho-capitalist groups. They just can't 
get dates. I know,,, I used to be one....
