Thanks for your comments, Roger. Today is one of those rare days where
giving up seems like an option. Today was one of those "wounded duck"
days for me.

Or, perhaps something like "Boondocks," where I should have just headed
back to bed.

I think you meant to say that the anti-glob movement wasn't very
authoritarian. Some of us have argued that at least 35% of it is
anarchist or anti-authoritarian.

Actually, I've always found that the folks on this list agree with me.
We get into arguments because this list would be pretty boring if we
didn't inflate little differences like they do on sports radio.

We'll see. They were bound to become scapegoats at some point anyway,
even if 9/11 hadn't happened. Capitalism and the state are just not
going to let a big anti-authoritarian movement develop without some kind
of response.

Some of us were thinking strategically about the long term and had
already factored a 9/11 incident into our plans. What we didn't count on
was that the incident that happened (9/11) would have so little to do
with us. This is why I remain very optimistic.
