Good shit but don't bother with the second trilogy. They'll ruin the first
one for you... trust me.

May I recommend the Fafhrd and the Grey Mouser series by Fritz Leiber?
They're dark and brooding fantasy, more like Blade Runner than Star Trek.

Another good fantasy writer is Roger Zelazny. His Amber series was
brilliant.
