It's the old New Left that is getting left behind. There are still too
many people on the Left who are fighting their own Vietnam War syndrome.

BTW, Carp, the taking of Kabul is not the end of the war. The U.S. seems
to be disturbed that the Northern Alliance went ahead and took Kabul.
Bush and company still have plenty of time to fuck things up worse and
they are facing a severe economic downturn at home.
