Just kidding. ;-) I know Iain has been to America several times, but I doubt that he has really sampled all the varieties of this great American dish. I come from that great city which a sports celebrity once called the "pizza-eatingist town in America." That would be Kansas City. Not only does Kansas City have great pizza, but it has kick-ass barbecue. I've been vegetarian for over a decade, but I still make a few things with KC Masterpiece sauce. My folks live in the "barbecue belt" of southern Kansas City. American pizza? We've got at least three great varieties: New York style, Chicago deep dish, and California style. There's also the generic American style. Personally, I prefer New York style and deep dish. Deep dish pesto is one of my favorites. Taco pizza is also pretty good. My choice for delivery is usually black olives with either mushrooms or onions. > please, I've been to Italy. I know what a real pizza > is like. I had pizza in Pisa and several other places. It sucked. Damn, my dinner of Ramen noodles seems very inadequate after reading these emails. << Chuck0 >> Infoshop.org -> http://www.infoshop.org/ Alternative Press Review -> http://www.altpr.org/ Practical Anarchy Online -> http://www.practicalanarchy.org/ Anarchy: AJODA -> http://www.anarchymag.org/ MutualAid.org -> http://www.mutualaid.org/ Factsheet 5 -> http://www.factsheet5.org/ AIM: AgentHelloKitty Web publishing and services for your nonprofit: Bread and Roses Web Publishing http://www.breadandrosesweb.org/ INTERNATIONALISM IN PRACTICE An American soldier in a hospital explained how he was wounded: He said, "I was told that the way to tell a hostile Vietnamese from a friendly Vietnamese was to shout ‘To hell with Ho Chi Minh!’ If he shoots, he’s unfriendly. So I saw this dude and yelled ‘To hell with Ho Chi Minh!’ and he yelled back, ‘To hell with President Johnson!’ We were shaking hands when a truck hit us."
