hey jack - nice to see you're still lurking.

yeah, looks like post-modernity is breaking out all over.  this story
has gotten pretty strange press over here.  a bit too complex for our
political palette i suspect.

sounds like my neighborhood.  as you said, i shed few tears for the
politician (though i'm personally opposed to assassination as a
general rule of thumb.  wimpy of me, but there you are), but he did
say some pretty provocative stuff.  euope's engagement (intellectual,
cultural, economic) with it's non-christian (or more frightening,
non-secular), non-white, non-conforming residents seems to be evolving
quite quickly.  i suspect it's something of a dilemma.
