A populist politican says "Holland is full. No more immigrants". Later he gets shot. In a country nearby an extreme rightwing politician entered the presidential election, but lost. In a country between those two, a racist got frustrated by all this and killed his north-african neighbours. The police arrived rather late on the scene and shot sme bullets more or less in his direction (some misses of 50m) and it took a neighbour to rescue the children of the shot couple. What shocks the most (and are there any gradations ?). When i went to a memorial service of the moroccan couple i noticed that among the 3000 people that attended, the presence of "white" belgians was almost nihil. Does it mean that my fellow belgians don't really care about democracy? When Pim Fortuyn got his memorial service, the masses cried or sang football-fan songs (we'll never walk alone) like at Lady Di's funeral. Leftwing groups and individuals get threatened. The pie-throwers (BBB) got arrested like terrorists and the masses applaud. Does that mean that the dutch don't really care about democracy? Erik PS. reading indymedia.nl it's even scarier how it looks like being extreme rightwing is considered normal. -- ===========================================================================Ze Sprout <anarchie-AT-buelinckx.net> amour & anarchie & amour & anarchie ===========================================================================
