Kris,

note that several of us have a spread of dates.  that's actually
because i orginally asked for two guesses:  (1) when will significant
air/special forces action begin and (2) when will significant ground
action occur.  i hoped that this would confuse things and give us
something to argue about over the mead that you apparantly already owe
to the booze locker.  appears that sprout is also on the hook; long
train ride to the indy 500 from begimum, eh?

i remain fundamentally depressed about the fate of my species.
personal death is bad enough, but sometimes i wonder.  if anyone still
harbored illusions as to the u$ bozo-in-chief's intentions toward
mesopotamia, last night's mish-mash of illogic should prove
conclusive.  the guy is a looney.  and he's in the service of even
loonier loonies.

still think he'll commence activities before the elections.
otherwise, there's no real point to the whole shebang.
