Subject: origins of the original Maldoror


Maldoror was a character in a book of the same name by
Le Compte de Lautreamont (real name Isidore Ducasse,
son a French immigrant lawyer in Paraguay). The book
(and eponymous character) was written in the 18th
century... long before he appeared in songs by Current
93 and Coil.
