I have never evicted any homeless adolescents.
However, Heather has. A few weeks ago she sent
a post to the anarchy list in which she mentioned
about having to do so. (Or was it the anarcho-scots
list? Anyway, she definitely sent such a post to one
of the lists, and I'm sure it can be retrieved if necessary
to prove this.) In that post to the list, Heather talked
about how it pained her to have to evict this homeless
adolescent. I can understand both her pain at having
to do so, and her feeling that, nevertheless, she
had to do it.

So far as Keri and me looking after Heather's dogs
for the weekend is concerned, we have done this
on a couple of occasions. Each time, Heather asked
us to look after her house, as well as her dogs. Each
time, it turned out that there were some complications
to this task which Heather hadn't mentioned in advance.
Each time, there was a bit of damage done to the house,
either by Heather's own teenage kids, or by some of their
friends. Each time, Heather blamed us for this. Last
time this happened, Keri decided enough was enough.
Keri decided we would never again agree to look
after Heather's house and dogs. She wanted to stay
friends with Heather, but she insisted to me in no
uncertain terms that we were never again going
to take on this responsibility for Heather.
