Keri had put Heather on "blocked sender" again, so messages
from her were being automatically deleted before I saw
them. However, what I did get was Maldoror's response
to Heather, which included the original message.

Despite having previously acknowledged that she
mistook Dave MacLean for me (and, if necessary,
_that_ can be proved) Heather has now changed
her tune and is claiming "Dave M made the mistake".

If Heather's new claim were true, then what she is
now claiming is that she sought to use a debate about
GM foods, which had absolutely nothing at all to do
with me, as an excuse for a completely irrelevant personal
jibe at me. I will do her the favour of thinking that
she was telling the truth the first time, when she
admitted to a case of mistaken identity on her part.

Dave MacLean made no mistake. He was the Dave
who was taking part in the debate on GM foods,
and Heather's comments were intended to refer
to the Dave who was taking part in that debate.
It was Heather who had made the mistake, against
all the evidence, of thinking that the Dave taking
part in that debate was me.

Here is message 3574 from the Scots Debate archives

What a nasty wee comment.
You neither know me nor my diet.
It would nice if your intellect were as clear as your bowels
perhaps then you would be able to enter an adult conversation
without such childish remarks which cost me nothing
and you your credibility.

So what I said about this was completely true

and it is also true that
