That may be true for 19th century man...and there were a damned sight less men about then. Get everyone up to 21st century tech, and that problem will go away. Anyone can live anwhere today. There ain't much fertile ground left on Hong Kong Island.... As for other places... If everyone in the US simply siezed 20 acres of state owned land, the amount of developed land in the US would increase by ony 10%. As long as everyone doesn't insist on grabbing land that a pre-modern farmer can grow corn on with animal power, then there is plenty of land for all. -- Regards, Kristopher Barrett
