What I do for the homeless is a bit different than you. You give them change and then tell the wirld about it, like there was some real sacrifice involved or that there was some effort in the act. I tend to keep my mouth shut. Actually, you sounded like a liberal when you wrote that bit about giving out money. If you want to know, it is generally accepted among Those In The Know that giving change to panhandlers is _not_ a good idea, no matter how altruistic the motives. Why? For tons of reasons. People like FNB have made a good argument it is better to simply give food or actually buy the person a hot dirnk. But what do I know? I am, after all, only omnipotent, and therefore a lesser man than you. Neh? It is funny that you can't give up trying to redeem yourself on the list though.
