the study of nomads and the various structures that
they set up within their groups (ie politics, culture,
economy of the group, etc.).

the ways in which they exist tend to have some
anarchist qualities in that many are against the idea
of state, no recognition of borders, they have no
leaders, exist in democratic modes, etc.


the tuareg of north africa are interesting to look at
as are a group i've just started researching in
paraguay.
