gr3g, let me remind you that you are still arguing that every instance of a
word like "moorish" is "racial slang." You haven't been very effective so far
in convincing folks. The appeal to the authority of Chomsky, Foucault, etc is
merely humorous.

If you can twist the work of either of those theorists around to support your
woefully inadequate notion of the work of language in maintaining hegemony,
i'll be very, very impressed.

If you think you can school us on "chomsky, foucault, said, etc," by all
means, take your best shot, but, personally, i don't think you're up to the
conversation.

We're "anti-progressive"? Can you clarify that? I would have opposed Woodrow
Wilson, had i had the opportunity. And i'm not too confortable with most
notions of "progress." But that's probably not what you mean. "Uncritical"
is, of course, the word of choice of folks who don't believe any other
viewpoint is possible - see the unfortunately popular phrase "uncritical
embrace."

I'm guessing you mean by "anti-progressive" and "uncritical" what you meant
earlier by "uninformed" - what other, more rational folks refer to as "having
a different opinion." But thanks for playing...
