I liked Wellstone,  but I don't think it's repugnicon evil doing (in this 
instance, there's no shortage of it in general) so much as small fucking 
planes.   There's no way in hell I'm getting in a small fucking plane 
unless the pilot is some grizzled old Viet Nam vet with 500 sorties under 
his belt including getting shot down a couple dozen times (I want somebody 
who knows how to crash and survive).   Small planes are the devil, and then 
if like Missouri's own dumbass Mel Carnahan, you have to fly small, don't 
do it in a storm at night.   I mean dammitall, these states are big, but 
not so big that you couldn't drive all the places you need to go.  Biggest 
dumbass award goes to that singer Aliyah (or whatever) who bit it a couple 
years ago by overloading yet another small plane with her 
luggage.   There's no room for debate on this one, clearly greed kills.

I feel bad for Wellstone's wife and surviving children and probably the 
state of Minnesota.
