Ehum... ;) If you can provide a definition of a "right--left" function which: * Is a definition, not an ad hoc line-up of various popular views. * Is complete; embraces all ideologies or anti-ideologies. * Is consistent; distinctevly places each on only a single point on this one-dimensional scale. and last but not least: * Is universal; acceptable to anyone, regardless of political denomination. then I am eager to hear about it, because that is something which puzzled me for years, until I decided to drop it. When everyone uses his own left--right scale, each will only end up reciting his own personal dictionary, in a disharmonic choir of disjoint monologues.
