I find that the problem with demands for instant
gratification is that they make me nervous
and then I can't provide gratification at all.

We went to the cinema.
Saw "Gangs of New York" with French subtitles.

But we did soak up some Culture.
We got to see the Mona Lisa. 
She looks  _just_  like her picture!
A bit small, though.
I thought the original would be bigger.
We also got to see lots of ancient Greek statues
when we visited the Louvre. I was very interested 
in these. The men all had very small penises, 
and they also all had one ball that hung down 
lower than the other. Never having made a study 
of other men's penises before, I found this 
very reassuring. I had thought it was just me! 
There was one statue of the god Mercury about to 
have his wicked way with the goddess Psyche. In fact, 
if my reading of the French inscription is correct, 
he is about to rape her. The guy is supposed to be 
inflamed with unstoppable passion! Well, all I can 
say is, he'd better take his viagra first.
