I think he means me

I have _never_ suggested moderating the anarchy-list.
It is true that I thought the situation where twelve million
people demonstrated against war, and yet the anarchy list
was conspicuously avoiding mentioning the war, was an unhealthy
situation, and I expressed this opinion. Apparently other
folk agreed, as we have since then had discussion about
opposing the war. But that isn't "moderating" the list.
That is simply getting others to discuss something
you think should be discussed. That can happen
even with a completely un-moderated list.

Now be serious, Carp.
Why on earth would I want to do that?
I am already on seven different lists.
As well as a couple of anarchist lists,
there is the Scottish Politics list, Alba,
Scots Debate, and so on. At any time, there
is usually somebody disagreeing with something
I said on one of these lists. The posts
which I respond to are other people's, not
my own. That's just a myth created by you,
for your own party politician's purposes.

> So I tend to be short-tempered

This can be bad for the blood pressure of folks
of advancing years like you and me, Carp. Take
some deep, slow, breaths. Try chanting " OM " .
Be in harmony with Nature and the Universe,
my brother.

No, you're _wrong_ there, Carp :-)
You mean me again, and you are quite simply wrong.
Not EVERYONE .
I do not seek to prove Iain to be in error.
I do not seek to prove Andy to be in error.
Come to think of it, I do not seek to prove Keri
to be in error.
And what about Ali? When have I ever sought to prove
Ali to be in error?
So in practice your exaggeration "everyone" is reduced
to "most (but not all, there being _at least four_
exceptions) of those who post to the anarchy list".
