If somebody writes about "the direct action movement", or "the anti-war movement", or about "class struggle anarchism", or even "the Gulf Stream", then, if I want to comment on what they have to say, I will probably leave the subject heading as it was. But if somebody sends a message which is devoid of any political point, or even any scientific point, and whose only point is really just the purely personal one of "having a go at Dave Coull", then I am unlikely to keep the subject heading they chose.
