Loving _everybody_ is such a supernatural action
that even the Christians admit their Jesus would
tell some people to go to hell, and even the Muslims
admit that Allah would say the same.

I think the most that us human beings can manage
is to love _some_ people, and to have a sort
of generalised goodwill towards a much larger
number of people. I reckon trying to take collective
actions in opposition to war is more important
than pretending you're able to love everybody.
It is still important that actions against
war continue. We shouldn't just shrug our
shoulders and say "well, at least we tried".

I got the message you sent with your phone
number etc. for my daughter, Erik, thanks
for that. I've passed it on. You can expect
to see her and my three year old grand-daughter
when they visit Brussels within a couple
of weeks. You might not want to answer this
publicly, Erik, but, if you don't mind, how
old are _your_ kids ?
