Peace marches took place in cities throughout Grrmoney, and there were two  
marches in many of them: one in the morning organized by students, and one  
in the afternoon/evening, so there's two figures for some.

Berlin: 70,000-100,000 students
Berlin-Kreuzberg: 5,000 (evening)
Nuremberg: 5,000 st
Cologne: 8,000 / 4,000
Hamburg: 10,000 - the article spoke about cops in massive numbers who
         reacted harshly also to passers-by, so that the remark 'arsehole'
         was frequently heard from non-participants
Munich: 20,000
Hanover: 5,000 st / no fig as of yet
Stuttgart: 15,000 st / no fig
Heidelberg: no fig st / 5-6,000 - the article said that there were violent
            resp aggressive reactions from members of US forces, some
            apparently tried to overrun marches with vehicles
Duesseldorf: 3,000
Kassel: 10,000 st / no fig
Mannheim: no fig
Koblenz: 500 st
Chemnitz: 300 st / no fig
Muenster: no fig
Flensburg: 600 st
Lindau: 500
Frankfort/Oder: 600

Another article said that there was a students' peace march today in  
Geneva/Switzerland whose participants were teargassed by riot police
