Well, Darla Kay, it seems to me that even for those who successfully commit suicide it could still turn out different from intended. For instance, they could be discovered by some well-meaning persons, given some sort of first aid which briefly prolongs their life, and be rushed off to hospital, and die in hospital surrounded by hospital staff, and maybe relatives and even priests who they didn't want to be there. They have still committed suicide, but not quite "when" they intended, nor "how" and "with whom" they intended. So I still say none of us really knows for certain how, when, or with whom we will die.
