just for me. Matt, with the anarchy-list, if you just hit 
"reply" when responding to something on the list, then 
your message will only go to one particular person, 
and not to the list as a whole.

after recently having to deal with the ISO showing up at an
anti-authoritarian, anti-dnc meeting, i've given this issue a little more
thought.

i'm an anarchist.  i don't identify as a leftist.  i get sort of upset
when other people try to pin that label on me.  however, my political
interests often intersect those of people on the left, and much more often
than they intersect those of people on the right.

I don't identify myself as a "leftist" either, Matt.
In my experience, on this side of the Atlantic anyway,
the only people who are ever likely to use this term
are people who are themselves fairly obviously on 
the "right" of politics. It tends to be used as 
a term of abuse, more or less. But as you say

than they intersect those of people on the right".
