hey gang,

we got the later episodes first; i don't think i've seen the
beginning.  i like the klaus kinski lookalike that plays the
proletarian crewman.  interesting show.

we just got a brand new science fiction museum that's opening here in
seattle, part of paul allen's experience music project (near the space
needle).  lots and lots of fans and even authors around here.  i
expect it will be heavy on the tv/movie stuff (they got capt kirk's
command chair for ex), but they do apparantly have a lot of first
editions and other good stuff.  i think greg bear is involved.

i've noticed how frequently an interest in sci fi and in progressive
politics go hand in hand.
